Well, today it was back to Spartanburg. SC Campaign staff have spent a lot of time here recently with work funded by four Spartanburg Foundations all committed to preventing teen pregnancy in this county.
It was a productive day as we were able to present information on the magnitude of teen pregnancy to many new faces. Mayor Barnett joined us, which is always a pleasure, to sign a proclamation declaring May Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month in the City of Spartanburg. A big thanks to two old friends - the Mary Black Foundation (Philip, Molly, Curt) and United Way of the Piedmont (Kathy, Chris, Monica) for hosting two more great events for us.
It's finally a night with a bit of rest which is awesome - I need it!!! And, Lord knows I need some exercise after all the wonderful food that has become a staple of this trip. Not tonight though... maybe in the morning?!?!
Busy day tomorrow so be sure to tune in. We've got thousands of pictures that should be up on the web soon. I'll let you know where and when to look for them.
